Just a little test run

This is a little clip to see how the video showed up using this camera. I currently use a Canon PowerShot A520 - 4.0 megapixal for all the pictures on this site, including the header, except for a handful that I grabbed online when needed. It usually works pretty good for still photos but as you can see I found out it shows up a little grainy online for video. I am hoping to do a little upgrading sometime this next year. I am also hoping to get a little tripod. Any suggestions? I was thinking about one of these 
Vanguard VS41 Flexible Tripods but I need to do a bit more research.
