Sandy Bottom Campground is a small 4 site campground along the Toccoa River in North Georgia. The sites are spacious and flat each with a fire pit, picnic table, and lamppost. Georgia’s Upper Chattahoochee Campground lies at the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River. The sites are spacious, but not that private. The river runs along most of the sites so the rushing water makes for a nice sound effect and the water is clean unlike most of the Chattahoochee.
