Looking for a Closer Trail?

If you live anywhere north of Atlanta and your looking for new hike check out Cartersville’s Pine Log Creek Trail if you haven’t already. Its a 4.5 mile trail with views of Pine Log Mountain and crosses over several footbridges along the way. There are two loops, the east which takes you by an old CCC quarry pond and also the west loop. Its a decent trail that is fairly new.

Directions:
Take I-75 Exit 293, US 411 north approximately 8 miles. Turn right onto GA 140 east toward Waleska. Continue approximately three miles to Pine Log Creek Trail parking area.
