Hiking North Georgia

Hiking is one outlet we use quite a bit to keep the kids as well as ourselves active but up at Cloudland
Canyon where we went again recently there is more to do than just hike if that is not your thing. While we were there we hiked the West Rim Trail, went out and checked out the views from the main overlook, checked out a small trail which begins at the end of the lower parking lot/picnic area near the overlook, hung out on the rocks by the upper waterfall, and climbed through the crevasses throughout the West Rim outcroppings that rest at the top of the gorge above the two main waterfalls.
The outcroppings can be a pretty popular spot to stop and take it all in so if you have the chance, try to visit mid-week. You won’t regret it! You could spend the entire day just relaxing by the waterfall or on the rock outcroppings and not even do the entire west rim hike if you don’t wish to.

those are some great pics of your little monkeys. you should hang that one of the waterfall up on your wall, its awesome.
Yeah, we got lucky with these monkeys, they don’t throw pooh!
