Hiking Burnt Mountain - North Georgia

We have not been hiking near as much as we would like but I was able to squeeze in a quick one recently. Here are a few more shots from the Burnt Mountain trail that happens to be one of the closest trails to our house in Canton, Georgia.
This trail is pretty short and part of it turn into an old road but if you are just looking to get away for a little while its not bad.
This last time I went I noticed something kinda interesting? The no trespassing sign that I put in this post is actually on a tree on the side of the trail. If you start the hike from the parking lot and go up the hill and follow the trail you will quickly see it and wonder if you should be there at all but if you start the loop in the other direction which I did the first time you may not even notice it. Guess you are only trespassing if you choose the wrong way around the loop!
