Nearest Town: Ball Ground, Ga
Directions: From Canton- take Hwy 20 East toward Cumming and take a left onto Hwy 369. Cross over Forsyth County line and continue about 3 or 4 miles to Poole’s Mill Rd on the right. Go about a mile and park will be on your right.
Today was the second time we came up North a little to Poole’s Mill Park. Its a pretty typical public park in Forsyth County with a small playground and walking paths etc.. The one main difference is that this park features natural slide rocks that spill through Settendown Creek at the end of the walking path.
The kids have a blast trying out the different paths down along the main slide area and we grown-ups even got in on the action. Its a perfect little spot for the warmer months and its conveniently located to Alpharetta, Canton, Dawsonville, and Cumming. The park closes late November for the Winter and opens again in Spring so be sure it’s open before you head out there.
