TheRiversEdge-Vortex Backpacks changes focus

I have had some responses come in for one of my earlier gear review posts on my vortex backpack review. Thanks for the interaction. Since then I have come to learn a few things about Vortex and the company changes that have gone on since I moved away from Utah which I must say I miss and has a ridiculous amount of family outdoor activities to offer. If you call the company now you are sure to be told something similar to what I was told, as was one of the visitors from campnpost who read my review. I happened to be able to get a hold of one of the co-founders of the company who was very informative and helped me out quite a bit.
The company has changed focus and is now building the same quality gear in the hunting/fishing niche through companies like TheRiversEdge.com who sells a couple of their other lines Badlands and William Joseph and from what I can tell, all the same quality and care put into the Vortex Backpacks has since carried over to these lines.
Myself, I still wish they would continue on with their Vortex line of backpacks but for those of us interested in hunting and fishing this is a great store where you can buy an extremely high quality hunting pack or other fly fishing gear.
