Osprey Exos 46 (2600-3000 cu in)
Built for ultra-light backpacking and loaded with useful features.

Main Review
Well, I’ve had the Osprey Exos 46 for about 6 months now and I have to say I love it! I have used my Vortex 4500 Backpack for years and always been happy with it. The only downside is that its too much pack for many of the quick weekender trips I’ve been doing lately so I decided to get a smaller one. Things have continued to evolve and the difference in weight is unbelievable!
I live in the south so for me this pack works for my gear all year round. By just switching to this backpack I shaved about 5-6 pounds and am now down to around 15 lbs with food and water on the typical trip.
A couple of cool features I’ve enjoyed are the expandable pockets on the front of the pack and the mesh side pockets. I am able to use these for items I need handy like my microfilter bottle, rain jacket, and pack cover. Also, the waist belt has mesh pockets on both sides of the buckle where I can stuff a camera or my phone which makes life easy.
