Tubing down the Chestatee River

I realize its a bit difficult to think about today since it just snowed last night but store this one in your To Do List for spring-summer.This is actually a good little activity you can do in many places in the southeast while camping.
Think back to the hottest day you have ever lived through. ( I will pause here and wait) Got it? OK, now add the torturous arm pit humidity of a sultry, dead of summer day in the bayous of Louisiana, increased by a long, long month in a Cambodian tin box and you are now getting closer to the brutality of any given Georgia summer day! Here’s something you can do during the summer when you’re bored and lazy feeling after you have stood up and then taken that sticky couch off your back and placed it back down on the floor.
My wife lined this up for my birthday this last year and it was a lot of fun. Here is where we rented the tubes from etc.. Appalachian Outfitters along the Chestatee River near Dahlonega
Here is another place to rent from that we may try out next time:http://www.rollingthunderriverco.com/toccoa.htm

Get out of there! It sounds terrible.
Ha, that did sound pretty bad.
