Keuka Lake State Park

OK, since Watkins Glen was a bust for camping, we went to check out Keuka Lake State Park. What a difference. The sites were spacious, level, grassy areas that offered a good bit of privacy. They have a huge playground, showers, boat slips, launch, and a pretty nice beach. It was also a lot cleaner that you’d expect from a place that has so many amenities. I hope you can see from the picture that the lake is crystal clear. I can’t remember the exact cost, I think it was $16 per night so it was a lot less than Watkins Glen.
Keuka Lake State Park is located between Branchport and Penn Yan at the north end of the lake. Beautiful and scenic, great for an extended stay.
