Georgia - Upper Chattahoochee
Dec 17th, 2007 by admin
Georgia’s Upper Chattahoochee Campground lies at the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River. The sites are spacious, but not that private. The river runs along most of the sites so the rushing water makes for a nice sound effect and the water is clean unlike most of the Chattahoochee.
There’s a small trail to a waterfall located at the end of the camp loop. Other than that, there are no trailheads in the campground. If you’re looking for a place to relax and be lazy, it’ll do, but if you have anything else on your agenda, be prepared to drive.
